Bradshaw Electric Vehicles is part of John Bradshaw Ltd. We started trading in 1973 as a plant hire company, and since 1975 we have been supplying industrial electric vehicles to both the UK and world market, evolving over the years to become Britain’s leading supplier of specialist materials handling equipment.
Life began for Bradshaw Electric Vehicles by importing Taylor Dunn vehicles from the USA and this relationship remains as strong as ever, we are the sole importer for Northern Europe.
A family run business, we are very proud to be the largest UK-based manufacturer of electric vehicles, growing a loyal customer base across an ever-increasing range of industry sectors. Continuing to develop our showcase of products; we are the preferred supplier for a growing number of global customers looking for electric tow tractors, electric tow trucks and electric utility vehicles.
Most people will have used or seen a Bradshaw Electric Vehicle in action, whether carrying passengers or transporting baggage around major UK airports, moving people and supplies at the British Grand Prix, The Chelsea Flower Show or Wimbledon Tennis Championship, however, very few people will realise that they are made or supplied by our family-owned business in Stibbington, just outside Peterborough.
Not only do Bradshaw sell vehicles but we also run a large fleet of electric vehicles, which are available for short and long term hire, or for event hire. Bradshaw also sell and hire golf buggies and people mover vehicles, we are the principle distributor and stockist for Club Car in the UK.

SERVICES
Bradshaw Electric Vehicles offer first class aftersales care, with a range of services available for our customers. Our Service Team and Parts Team can offer advice and guidance. Our Training team provides certified assessments.
We offer comprehensive vehicle training for all of our electric vehicles, or related products.
With a full time City & Guilds 7307 trainer, with over 30 years of dealing with our products, we ensure all customers’ training requirements are met. We provide anything from operator training to engineer training, as well as train the trainer training.
Tailored for the specific type of vehicle to be used, our training covers all aspects of its use, and is delivered with emphasis upon health & safety matters. Our training is formally assessed and certified with current HSE guidelines and expectations.
The Bradshaw focus on service doesn’t stop once you have bought a vehicle from us. Our commitment to providing a first class after sales service offering is backed up by our ISO9001: 2000 accreditation – backing our quality assurance.
Our simple objective is to keep your vehicles running through proper, scheduled maintenance and should a breakdown occur, get it up and running for you as quickly as possible.
All of our mobile service engineers are fully trained.
At Bradshaw Electric Vehicles we have an extensive stores, with all items used in the manufacture of our electric vehicles.
We keep a large selection of both electric vehicle and trailer items in stock and can therefore usually offer same day despatch on orders placed before 3:00pm, ensuring maximum uptime for you.
Events & Short Term Hire

Bradshaw has over 500 vehicles specifically for the events market. Our event vehicles range includes golf buggies, turf utility vehicles and gators, people movers, tow tractors, trailers and specialist vehicles such as ambulances and security vehicles. We supply to varying size events throughout the year, including The British Grand Prix, Wimbledon and many more. |
From cover for temporary upturn in production, short term application or retention of contract flexibility, short term hire can often be the solution. At Bradshaw we endeavour to have a cross section of industrial equipment available for hire. Hire agreements are available from one week to 5 years and are all covered by our full maintenance and on-site service package. |
