Manchetts fleet of more than 100 tracked recovery assistance vehicles are manned with trained IVR (Institute of Vehicle Recovery) operators and our skilled control room traffic operatives are on hand to deal with your vehicle breakdown/movement solutions in our 24hr control room based in Cambridge.
Manchetts Recovery can provide guaranteed lock out solutions on all makes and models of vehicle, mobile fuel drains and use fully up to date state of the art diagnostics – with Jaltest Diagnostic equipment as well as G1 Panasonic equipment, supported by The AA. We have all roadside diagnostics covered.
Our expansive fleet of vehicles provide everything from roadside breakdowns to major multi-vehicle incident management and our dynamic fleet replacement programme ensures that we always provide the latest vehicles and equipment. Due to our rural area, we can provide full expertise in 4×4 off-road winching with a specialised vehicle on the fleet such as our accident HIAB’s, ex-military Foden, Mercedes Unimog and more recently a converted JCB Fast Trac.
2019 has seen us already introduce a Eas Tract vehicle handler, allowing us to safely lift and recover any vehicle including the latest and more modern models, stuck in park, dead locked, keys lost or even stuck within underground or over ground carparks and within tight precarious spaces. This innovative piece of kit further supports our damage free recovery process.
Manchetts Recovery Ltd have recently opened a depot along the A10 at Waterbeach, Cambridge CB25 9PG; an area of Cambridgeshire which is logistically excellent in terms of access to the A14 at Milton. This central operational yard provides faster response times; with sites in Bury St Edmunds as well as Burwell our infrastructure allows us to cover the length and breadth of Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk. All three of our premises provide secure, state of the art, lit surveillance storage facilities as well as catering for both accident and full SOCO forensic examination to suit the needs of Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk Police forces.
Our group services offer comprehensive car and commercial workshop facilities based in Newmarket. The Manchetts Group are MAN and Renault truck approved repairers and our workshops are based off the A14 at Newmarket.
