Inhouse Manager is a comprehensive catering management software system which also includes allergen reporting, fully integrated nutritional analysis and meal ordering modules.  The system supports your catering operation to reduce administration and wastage, increase profits and put you back in control, leaving you to concentrate on providing a catering service that excels.

Inhouse Manager supports you in controlling your costs and ensures you have the ingredients you need when you need them by automating your procurement. We use over 20 years of public and cost-sector experience to save you time and money and ensure you’re meeting customer needs as well as the latest statutory expectations, whether you run a single hospital or a multi site Trust, schools or care settings. The software automatically identifies allergen information and our new, fully integrated nutritional analysis module uses your menu and recipe data to provide a comprehensive range of reports.

The Inhouse Manager Fully managed service

Our managed service removes many of the challenges faced in running a busy kitchen because we manage the software for you. Your account manager inputs your menus, menu cycles, recipes, and preferred delivery days and the software automatically calculates and orders the ingredients you need. We even manage supplier payments, sending you only one invoice per week. You have everything you need when you need it, helping you to reduce waste too.

We support your budgeting by working with you to define a fixed price per day, which is all you pay, the software is free of any licence or subscription charges.

The Software only service

With our software only option, you manage the software and enter all of your menus, ingredients and suppliers. The software then manages all aspects of ingredient management, from ordering to analysing, reporting and costings.

  1. Fully Managed Service: suitable for all settings, the software is provided free of any subscription charges or licence fees, and we manage the software so you get the maximum benefit.  We input your menus and recipes, and link the specific ingredients. Our software then calculates the ingredients required based on your recipes and meal uptakes, and automatically places the orders with the relevant suppliers.  We work closely with Chefs to fine tune recipes and to organise delivery schedules.  You can choose to continue using your favourite suppliers, use ours, or a combination.  Our buying power means you’ll save money, and we offer a fixed price per day for the provision of the ingredients so you know up front what your costs will be.  And the icing on the cake is that your invoicing will reduce to a single invoice each week from us, charging for the number of meals on the fixed price, plus any additional items purchased outside of the menu ingredients.

 

  1. Procurement only: best suited where no menu is stuck to rigidly – this option gives more flexibility in purchasing across multiple suppliers in a single system, and reduces invoices to a single document each week.  With this option, the software is provided free of any subscription charges or licence fees.

 

  1. Software only:  this option is tailor-made for organisations who wish to continue to use their own suppliers at their own pricing.  The software is purchased with an annual subscription, and enables you to control single or multiple sites, automating your procurement, and providing all relevant financial information and separation of costs.  Menus and recipes are input and costed by the software to keep control over spending.

 

  1. Electronic ward ordering: Our ward ordering software enables ward staff to send meal orders electronically and directly to the kitchen. Ward issues can also be ordered, and special requests for patients can be noted, making the ward ordering module completely flexible and tailored to your needs.  A full user audit trail is included, together with settings that allow you to cap the number of meals that can be ordered, control user rights and set cut off times for orders.

           The software runs via the internet and can be used on fixed and mobile devices.

 

  1. Allergens & Nutritional Analysis: Our software includes allergens and a new, fully integrated nutritional analysis module, providing reports across ingredients, recipes and menus, using actual uptake numbers or an even weighting.  This ground-breaking module will save you both time and money.
