Overview From a meeting of two to a conference of 200, the estate has a selection of spaces for you to present, discuss and breakout for your business meeting. Located in beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, the estate has the 18th century Main House, restored Coach House Restaurant Treatment rooms, Farmhouse, Old Forge Barn and Fig House. Our events team works closely with each client to create a package suited to their needs. We can organise additional activities for your event, including clay pigeon shooting, traditional sports days, cricket, winetasting, beauty treatments, driving experience and much more. |

Event Types
The Estate has a diverse range of venues, from rustic to traditional . With six venues onsite there are plenty of areas to host your exhibition, seminar, conference, business dinner or even private party. The Marquee is hidden behind The Main House, overlooking the glorious countryside, it can host a conference of up to 200 guests. Whereas the privately owned family home can be made into your tranquil office for the day. Perfect for those corporate away days, it is ideal for business events that need a range of rooms. There’s also 16 bedrooms in The Main House for those guests looking to stay the night. The Kitchen Garden is the perfect place to get some headspace and inspiration, overlooking The Kitchen Garden is The Fig House, a restored space available to hire exclusively for both private and business events. With space for up to 100 delegates, the adjoining Boiler House Bar makes the perfect space for those requiring a break out area. For those looking for something smaller, hiding behind the Farmhouse is The Old Forge Barn, with space for up to 50 delegates, this wonderful rustic space is available for exclusive hire. There is a large main room with a separate bar to use as a breakout area. And as for food, The Coach House is an award-winning relaxed all-day restaurant. It is the idyllic place to call in for breakfast, lunch or even a locally roasted coffee. It is here where the Treatment Rooms can be found offering holistic and soothing menus of wraps, facials and massages from REN, Kiss The Moon and VOYA. Location and Directions We are only a five minute drive from Scotch Corner just off the A1 (junction 56), and 10 minutes from Darlington Train Station (2.5 hr direct link from London Kings Cross/St Pancras). We are only a short twenty minute journey from Durham Tees Valley Airport (with direct flights from Schipol, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Ireland), Newcastle International airport in 40 mins or Leeds Bradford airport in 1hr - we can also help organise your transfers. The Estate also has ample free parking for restaurant guests and hotel residents. |
