About Us
From dinner served at Bath’s sparkling Pump Room, to modern British dishes at the peak of London’s Gherkin. While each of our venues has its own character, they are all united by a focus on exceptional service and expertise.
Founded in 1847, Searcys is one of the UK’s longest-running events hospitality companies. Our story can be traced back to the vision of one man: Victorian entrepreneur and the Duke of Northumberland’s confectioner, John Searcy.
Using seasonal and high-quality produce, our chefs reimagine and reinvent the modern British dishes we all know and love. Our Two Star Food Made Good rating by the Sustainable Restaurant Association accreditation is a testament to how provenance and sustainability are at the heart of our business.
Sharing the spotlight with our food is our collection of iconic venues that are available to hire. Whether it’s a meeting, a party or a wedding – each setting makes for an event like no other.

OUR EXPERIENCE
We are creators of brilliant restaurant experiences and wonderful events. Our collection of venues includes restaurants, bars, cafes, and event spaces across the UK. You can find us in iconic surroundings such as The Gherkin, Blenheim Palace and St Pancras International Station. The main areas we serve are restaurants, bars and cafes on the high street as well as visitor attractions, and event venues.
RESTAURANTS, BARS AND CAFES
We run some of London’s most iconic stand-alone restaurants and Champagne bars, including St Pancras Grand Brasserie and Champagne Bar. Many of our venues feature an element of public-facing retail, such as our restaurants at Blenheim Palace and the Roman Baths in Bath, and our cafes at 30 Euston Square and St Paul’s Cathedral.
EVENT VENUES
We create fabulous events across a portfolio of over 25 historic and unusual venues. Today, our event spaces include some spectacular, well-known venues, such as The British Academy and the Gherkin, as well as some very special gems for intimate occasions. In each we have a proven track record of understanding our specific client base, delivering relevant catering propositions, and growing revenues for our partners.
SALES AND MARKETING
Our Exclusive Events central sales and marketing team provides a free venue-finding service for corporate and private customers, looking after over 2,400 enquiries each year. Our Exclusive Events team is also a hub for referrals between our venues, placing over 840 events each year.
