About CooperGibson Research

CooperGibson Research is a research and development consultancy. Our team members have 15-20 years of experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. We aim to provide insightful and actionable intelligence and evidence to help clients understand, make decisions and plan ahead. We have experience in conducting research with a wide variety of audiences, from hard to reach groups to all workforce levels, senior managers and CEOs.
 
We work with private, public and third sector organisations ranging from individual companies to national bodies to support their research, engagement and consultation needs. This includes schools, colleges and universities, employers and companies of various sizes, local authorities, professional membership organisations, government departments and related agencies, policy organisations, workforce representatives and charities. 
 
We are versatile, based mainly in North Yorkshire, with some team members in other regions and regularly deliver projects throughout the UK.

Online, telephone, postal, electronic survey methods, including mobile compatibility 
Quantitative analysis using accessible tables, charts and graphs, easy to understand data interpretation, statistical tests exploring patterns and differences or similarities between sub-groups

Qualitative approaches

Our qualitative approaches can include very small projects to large scale longitudinal work (from a handful of interviews to 200 or more). We use a variety of analysis techniques, including thematic analysis, framework approach and grounded theory, content analysis and triangulation. Anonymised exemplars and case studies may be used to illustrate and add depth to reports, along with verbatim quotations.
