About Us
Americatessen was founded in 1993 which makes us the oldest and possibly still the largest importer of your favourite branded wholesale American confectionery, snacks, soda, baking and grocery products in the UK. These are the key brands from the United States, fashionable, affordable, and representing the “Real Flavours of America”.
The company is run by a very dedicated and professional team who draw on years of experience within the industry. We strive to deliver a personal service, supply top quality products that are genuine, and above all have an excellent sales record. We pride ourselves on our customer service and our order fulfilment.
We do not have a minimum order, to us an order is an order, and no customer is too small. On orders below £500 we make a delivery charge, but we can deliver anywhere. We use a network of parcel carriers and freight forwarders who can access almost every corner of the UK and EU. We select these for their levels of service, economy, efficiency and speed at which they can deliver.
All food and drink products sold throughout the UK and EU must comply with a prescribed amount of information regarding ingredients and allergens clearly displayed on the packaging. Americatessen can confirm that all our products are fully compliant with the law on food labelling. Although we have to comply with government legislation and Port Health import regulations we still have access to over 8,000 food and beverage lines through our network of suppliers in the USA.
