AVER is a specialist decommissioning and environmental consultancy working across a wide range of industrial and public sectors in the UK and overseas.
AVER is led and managed by Bob Shaw BSc, MSc, CChem, FRSC. An analytical chemist by profession, Bob has over 25 years’ experience of contamination surveys, biological and chemical decontamination, demolition and environmental projects throughout the UK/Ireland and in Europe, North and South America and Australasia. AVER will advise on the contamination liabilities, but also carries through with the physical decontamination works.

As a Chartered Chemist and Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, all projects are delivered in accordance with the professional standards and ethics of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Bob Shaw is also a Member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers and a Technical Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. AVER also has Associated Industry Membership of OBN, a membership organisation supporting and bringing together the UK's life science companies in the Golden Triangle and beyond. AVER will provide an honest evaluation of the contamination liabilities, and will undertake the physical decontamination works.
