Welcome to ThinkTeam. We are a consultancy specialising in public sector collaboration, stakeholder engagement, partnership working, and co-production. Drawing on more than a decade of senior experience working within the public sector, alongside extensive consultancy work across Wales and beyond, we understand the realities of delivering change from both inside organisations and alongside them. We help organisations work better together and work better with people.
We turn engagement and collaboration from theory into practice, supporting stronger relationships, clearer communication, better decision making and meaningful organisational change. Our work is practical, human and outcomes focused, helping organisations move beyond consultation to create engagement that delivers lasting impact.

Recent projects include developing a partnership vision and stakeholder engagement programme for Amgueddfa Cymru, Cadw and Newport City Council, supporting partners to build shared ownership of the future of one of Wales' most significant heritage sites; leading collaboration, engagement and well-being assessment work with PSBs to strengthen partnership working and inform strategic decision making; developing national consultation and engagement guidance and resources with WCVA to improve public participation across Wales; and delivering training, facilitation and coaching for the Natur am Byth! programme to strengthen collaboration across nine national and diverse conservation organisations; as well as local authorities, health organisations and voluntary sector partnerships.
Our approach combines co-production, participatory engagement methods, systems thinking, coaching and collaborative facilitation to help organisations navigate complexity, build trust and develop solutions that people can genuinely influence. We are experienced in designing and delivering workshops, deliberative events, stakeholder engagement programmes, evaluations and organisational learning processes that translate conversations into practical action.
ThinkTeam is led by an ILM Level 5 qualified coach and mentor, PRINCE2 Agile practitioner, IOSH Managing Safely certificate holder and Mental Health First Aider, bringing together recognised professional standards with extensive practical experience of working across public services. We have particular expertise in the Welsh public policy landscape, including the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act, the Environment (Wales) Act and sustainable management of natural resources (SMNR). ThinkTeam was recognised in the Future Generations Changemaker 100 for its contribution to embedding meaningful change across Wales.
Known for our practical, personal approach, we create safe spaces where diverse perspectives are welcomed, partnerships are strengthened and difficult conversations can happen constructively. We understand the cultural, political and operational challenges facing public sector organisations because we have experienced them ourselves. By combining that insight with trusted facilitation and evidence based engagement, we help organisations build stronger relationships, convert engagement into meaningful action and deliver change that matters to the people and communities they serve.
