About Us

Established in 2003 Hays Hydraulics & Mechanical Services Ltd based in Aberdeen in the Northeast of Scotland, provide second to none service and can supply everything Hydraulic and Mechanical to many Industries.

Although based in Aberdeen, Scotland, we carry out work throughout the UK and worldwide.

With our dedicated and highly skilled team at Hays we have a wealth of knowledge and experience to minimise down time and therefore reduces the cost to the customer.

We specialize in the maintenance, thorough inspection and testing of Launching Appliances onboard standby & supply vessels to the offshore renewables and oil and gas industries. I’m pleased to say we are a Class Approved Service Supplier for annual & 5 Yearly service of Launching Appliances.

We have a close relationship with many launching appliance OEMs one being VEST DAVIT that we are Official Service Partner for, for the UK.

We cover all things hydraulic on offshore vessels, repairs and inspections on cranes, windlass systems, capstans, watertight doors, A frames and steering systems.

With 7 service vans, 6 with onsite hydraulic hose manufacturing crimping machines, we can provide onshore and onsite hydraulic and mechanical repairs, servicing and troubleshooting to all industries with hydraulic systems. Included but not limited to all types of Plant, Lifting equipment, Quarrying, Haulage & Agricultural equipment.

At our workshop facility located close to Aberdeen Harbour, we also have a store stocked with a large amount of hydraulic components from Pumps, Valves, Accumulators, Fitting adapters, & hose / hose tails to manufacture hoses to you specification. We are stockist for Stauff hydraulic hose components and Total Lubricants.         

Services

Hays Hydraulics provide onsite and trouble shooting services to all industries including Oil, Marine & Plant Hire locally in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland and also worldwide.

Our extensive workshop facilities have been custom fitted to allow us to undertake any size of repair.

Our services also include the repair of hydraulic cylinders.

Our highly trained workforce ensures a speedy solution.

Our hose management service provides a survey, identification, labelling and logging of hoses to provide a fast replacement service.

 At very short notice we can attend marine vessels to carry out repairs, servicing and fault finding. We also survey equipment and program work for the next port of call.

Our repairs service caters for all types of transport, agricultural and manufacturing vehicles as well as equipment used in the fishing and offshore industries.

We will carry out the repairs wherever they are required whether that is locally or Nationwide using our fleet of fully equipped vehicles.

Our services can be adapted for many varied applications.
