Evolution Fasteners (UK) Ltd manufactures and supplies high-performance construction fixings, including masonry screws, insulation fasteners and structural fixing systems for the modern building industry.

The Evolution story
Evolution commenced operations in the United Kingdom in 2000 with engineering, laboratory, customer, sales and distribution services based in Glasgow and administration and accounts services based in Borehamwood.
In addition to the United Kingdom we serve the wider European region with operations in the Republic of Ireland and the Netherlands.
Our services
In addition to manufacturing and distributing a wide range of premium quality fasteners, we also offer Technical Consultancy Services to support our products including the design and manufacture of bespoke fasteners.
At your service
The Evolution team have valuable experience in many different areas of the construction industry and are available 8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday to provide product information, pricing or advice on the applications our fasteners are suitable for. All products are available from our UK Distribution Centre and can be delivered next day, to most of the UK and to mainland Europe within a few days.

ADDITIONAL CAPABILITIES
- Our Scanning Electron Microscope allows us to analyse samples and determine the failure method as well as detect hydrogen embrittlement. The SEM can also be used in reverse engineering and R&D projects as it is capable of viewing samples at up to 200,000× magnification.
- Metrology is the science of measurement. We can provide extensive metrology services on micro and macro samples. We use fully calibrated instruments and equipment traceable to the national standards to ensure that our clients receive the most accurate results possible.
- Using our CCT (Cyclic Corrosion Test) chambers, we can test specimens ranging from small to large, including structural framing systems, paints, and automotive or aerospace components. We can provide cyclic corrosion tests to the client’s specifications as well as NSST (Neutral Salt Spray Tests) to ASTM B117 and ISO 9227.
- Our Universal Testing Machines use Class 0.2 and 0.5 load cells to provide high resolution through load ranges up to 250 kN, as well as extremely accurate results. Our equipment is flexible and can also be used for dynamic fatigue testing of specimens.
