Southern United Ltd is a long-established industrial label & nameplate manufacturing company, having been in business for over 70 years. Combining both traditional and modern technology, enables us to provide our customers with expert advice and bespoke products of the highest quality. Proud of our historical roots but via continual innovation and investment, we strive to be at the forefront of modern manufacturing.

Quality is at the forefront of everything we do, and we are thrilled to have held the AS9100 certificate for over 6 years now, which we combine into our internal well established quality management system. We are also Joscar registered, members of the ADS and have been awarded the Cyber Essentials award. We are able to provide Certificates of Conformity with all parts, and can produce FAIR’s if required.

Products

PLASTICS

Southern United have been manufacturing high quality plastic labels since 1950. Choosing plastic labels offers you a wide variety of materials, colours, sizes and methods to achieve the finish you are looking for. We can manufacture plastic labels by Screen Printing, Roland print & Cut and can either produce on roll form or cut to size. Whether you chose Melinex, Autotex, Polyimide & Avery Vinyl to name just a few, we can ensure that your label is produced to exact drawing specification. Holes can be pierced if you require, or we also stock a wide range of adhesives to suit all surfaces and withstand even the harshest of conditions.

METALS

We have a wealth of experience producing metal name plates & labels from a wide range materials, including Aluminium, Aluminium foil, Stainless steel, Brass & specialist Aerospace/Commercial grade metals. We are one of the very limited number of manufacturers in the UK with our own in-house anodising facilities. This allows us to ensure full traceability, and quality standards are met. We are able to offer various finishes to your metal labels such as: anodised, etched, grained, polished, laser cutting & engraving to name just a few. We are also able to print in full colour onto our metal labels, and can also offer piercing for holes or have adhesive added too from our collection of stocked durable & Aerospace grade adhesives.
