Chisona Academy is owned by Achievers Within Educational, a UK registered company. We are the first online secondary school academy to run a Vertical Curriculum for 10 to 17-year-old.
Who we are?
We are an online Alternative Provision (AP) provider giving academic and educational support to Children in Care between the ages of 10 to 17 years old. We support our vulnerable children with an educational model that is caring, nurturing, bespoke, and process-driven to help our children be the best they can be.
We have a track record and a case study of supporting children in care through to GCSE certification, and in some cases, as the only source of education they have due to school placement difficulties.
Last academic year, we received multiple referrals from schools, local authorities, children’s homes and private parents. Using the F.E.A.T pedagogy, every child experiences satisfaction with our teaching delivery led by our team of qualified and highly experienced teachers. We have designed an online support system that helps schools reduce their student absence percentages. We set up in-school online units where Chisona Academy teachers deliver set and bespoke curriculum to children at risk of school absences. We are a Safeguarding Online School. All our staff and volunteers are fully trained to identify and report safeguarding incidences immediately to keep our learners safe. Our new ACETracker, provides real-time data on student attendance. Schools and stakeholders can see in real-time when their children are online and learning.
