​Tender Opportunity: Office Supplies

NEPO has issued an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for a new solution covering the provision of office supplies.

NEPO502 Provision of Office Supplies comprises two lots:

  • Lot 1 General Office/desktop supplies including a sub-lot for envelopes
  • Lot 2 Computer consumables

NEPO502 Provision of Office Supplies will be available for use by public sector organisations across the UK, and will cover a range of products including general desktop/office supplies, toner cartridges, and envelopes.

The solution aspires to reduce environmental impact through systems, operations and material-efficient packaging. In line with NEPO’s commitment to maximising Social Value, the specification asks tenderers to identify and reduce or eliminate the presence of single use plastics and non-recyclable materials in its supplies.

In addition, NEPO has requested a delivery schedule that specifies a “twice weekly delivery” as opposed to “next day delivery”. Consultation with public sector buyers deemed that next day delivery is often unnecessary, therefore this approach will make a positive impact in reducing carbon footprint/emissions and road miles.

The closing date for tenders is Noon, Wednesday 13 November 2019.
