A ‘Merkel-Macron deal’? Europe reacts to the Council’s nominations for EU leadership

Open Europe looks at some of the press reactions to the European Council's nominations for the next EU leadership positions on 2 July. 

This article provides a brief overview of how the press in selected member states reacted to these choices.
