AXELOS at CBI Cyber Security Conference 2018
AXELOS RESILIA® is a strategic partner at this year’s ‘CBI Cyber Security: Business Insight Conference’, in London, yesterday 12 September. The conference focuses on real solutions for the cyber issues facing businesses and offers the latest intelligence and practical advice to safeguard them from cyber-attacks.
Angela Sasse, Professor of Human-Centred Technology at University College London (UCL), and Nick Wilding, General Manager of Cyber Resilience of AXELOS, will present an interactive workshop ‘From the boardroom to the frontline: why is it so hard to sell cyber security?’.
The workshop will look into decisions organizations take to deal with cyber-risks as well as into the ‘disconnects’ that prevent responses to be truly effective and joined-up. It will also focus on the importance that people and their behaviours play in organizational resilience and explore how behavioural challenges can be adapted to meet organizational demands to build positive security habits.
The workshop is designed for board directors, executive managers as well as technology and security experts.
In addition, Angela Sasse is joining a panel discussion with other industry experts that will assess the risk landscape for 2019 and what cyber risk issues boards need to be addressing and planning for.
