Applications now open to become a Census Support Service Centre

Good Things Foundation has been contracted by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to support the delivery of the next Census in England and Wales.

In 2021 the Census will be ‘digital first’ and Good Things Foundation will provide support to ensure those without skills or access can participate.

We’re working with the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to build a network of Census Support Centres who can support people to complete the census, ensuring everyone has the chance to complete the census.

We’re looking for organisations who can deliver support to people wishing to complete the census online between March and May 2021. You’ll be required to deliver the service across a set amount of hours each week with the possibility of additional delivery covering evenings, weekends and the census weekend.

We will be asking some Census Support Service centres to work with us during November and December to test the end to end service, with volunteer Census participants. Additional grants will be available to organisations who assist us in this testing period.

Applications are now open and will close on Friday 19 June at 5pm. Click here to read the full guidance and to apply.
