Asset recovery correspondence
We have been made aware that some creditors have received letters from a claims management company which falsely claim the endorsement of the Official Receiver.
Creditors have contacted us to check the veracity of the claims management service which asserts an ability to recover funds, typically from lost investments. Letters carry an Insolvency Service letterhead, implying that the company is acting on our behalf and is endorsed by us.
For the avoidance of doubt the Insolvency Service does not endorse these kinds of service and is not associated with the companies sending this correspondence.
