BBC Invites IT Suppliers to Shape Procurement Strategy

The BBC is seeking IT partners to help explore how digital platforms can improve its procurement and supplier-management processes.

The broadcaster has issued a “prior information notice” "seeking input from potential providers or developers of procurement e-sourcing solutions”.

The BBC wishes to hear from companies that can provide “full source-to-contract solutions”, as well as those that could provide just an e-auction, contract-management, or spend-analytics offering in isolation.

Services could include digital sourcing, tendering, evaluation, and auction tools, as well as market engagement and contract management technology.

The BBC has requested that suppliers register their interest, with a contract notice expected to go out early October.
