Brexit: trade in goods report debated by Lords

On Tuesday 18 July the House of Lords debates the European Union Committee's report, Brexit: trade in goods.

The EU External Affairs Sub-Committee investigated the implications of Brexit for the UK's trade in goods with the EU. The report considers the potential impact of Brexit on trade in six goods sectors: chemical and pharmaceuticals, capital goods and machinery, food and beverages, oil and petroleum, automotive and aerospace and defence.

Speakers in the debate

  • Baroness Verma, Chair of the EU External Affairs Sub-Committee, will open the debate on Brexit: trade in goods.
