CDBB launches the Digital Twin Hub!

The CDBB has established the DT Hub- a collaborative web-enabled community to drive learning and accelerate the progression of digital twin projects across the UK.

The Centre for Digital Built Britain (CDBB) yesterday launched the DT Hub as part of the UK Government-led National Digital Twin programme (NDTP), representing an important milestone for the UK’s digital twin ecosystem!

The DT Hub has been built as a space for digital twin owners and suppliers, as well as information management experts, to come together and collaboratively bring the CDBB’s national digital twin vision into reality.

Looking to the future, the DT Hub aims to connect key digital twin players with other experts and innovators and provide opportunities to help shape the future of the built environment in the UK.

The DT Hub will be extremely useful as a mechanism for sharing important insights and experience, but will also feed into the development and application of the Gemini Principles and the CDBB’s Information Management Framework.

Over the coming months, techUK will continue to work closely with the CDBB to explore how the newly launched Digital Twins Working Group (DTWG) can support the DT Hub and the evolution of the NDTP.

If you’re interested to become an active collaborator on the DT Hub, please register here to be kept informed on how/when you can best get involved!
