Changes to document ordering hours from 1 January 2018
From 1 January 2018, we will change our document ordering hours for visitors to our reading rooms.
From this date, document ordering will begin at 09:30 and finish at 16:00 every day we are open to the public.
If you advance order documents before your visit – or if you have reserved documents from a previous visit – you will be able to access these documents when the reading rooms open at 09:00.
Advance ordering will close at 16:00 on the working day before a visit.
Our reading room opening times will remain unchanged:
09:00 to 17:00 Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
09:00 to 19:00 Tuesday and Thursday
Reader registration will open at 09:00 and close at 16:00 each day.
If a reader arrives after 16:00 on Tuesday or Thursday and has pre-ordered or reserved documents, we will reopen registration for them.
