City and Guilds Online Basics assessment is retiring
For the past few years, we’ve been working with City and Guilds to provide an accredited Online Basics assessment. Unfortunately Flash Player, the software that makes the assessment possible is being withdrawn by its maker Adobe at the end of this year.
This means that we will no longer be able to offer the Online Basics assessment after the end of 2020.
If you’ve already purchased assessment vouchers, these will still be valid for new attempts until 30 November 2020 and if learners don’t pass the first time, they'll be able to resit the assessment until 14 December 2020. In most cases, we won't now be offering new assessment vouchers.
If you’d like more information about the retirement of the City and Guilds Online Basics assessment, please speak to a member of our Network Team on 0114 349 1666.
