The shortlisted nominees for the communications category in the Civil Service Awards have been announced.

The Civil Service Awards are a cross-government event, recognising and celebrating the wealth of inspirational individuals and innovative projects within the Civil Service.

The Communications category recognises exceptional performance by government communications teams to deliver a highly effective national or international communications campaign.

The shortlisted nominees are:

• The Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) Communications and Marketing Team with their ‘Our NHS’ Allied Health Professions and Nursing Recruitment Campaign
• Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) with their Vehicle Tax Evasion Campaign 2020
• Cabinet Office’s National Resilience Hub, with their Coronavirus (COVID-19) Communications Response

Miriam Wraight Head of Creative Content, Channels and Marketing at DHSC yesterday commented:

“Very proud that the DHSC Communications and Marketing team is shortlisted for the Communications category in this year’s Civil Service Awards.

Our Allied Health Professions and Nursing recruitment campaign was a real team effort, not only drawing on talents from our own communications, marketing and channels teams but across the whole health family.

Great contributions from NHS staff and Trusts across England, UCAS and HEE with a special thank you to our NHS colleagues in Leeds”.

Byron Lewis, Head of Communications for the DVLA yesterday commented:

Claire Pimm, Director of the National Resilience Comms hub, yesterday said:
