Committee for Health concerned about impact of political situation on reform of Health and Social Care

The Assembly’s Committee for Health held their weekly meeting yesterday in Parliament Buildings and received an overview briefing from the Royal College of Nursing.

The Committee agreed that the transformation agenda should be implemented to redress the significant challenges to the health and social care system; challenges that the RCN discussed in their briefing.

Chairperson of the Committee, Paula Bradley MLA said: “Given the real pressures on our health and care system, Members are keen to see the transformation agenda implemented. We believe that nothing should impede this progress.”
