Conduct Committee report on remote voting

The Second Report from the Conduct Committee on remote voting and the code of conduct published.

Recommendation

The Conduct Committee has recommended that if any Member of the House allows another person to vote on their behalf using the new remote voting system then this should be considered a breach of the Code of Conduct leading to a serious sanction. The Committee have made this recommendation in anticipation of remote electronic voting being introduced in the House of Lords from 15 June.
