Constitution Committee publishes report on 2015-16
The Constitution Committee yesterday published its sessional report on the 2015-16 Session, which reviews the work of the committee over the last parliamentary year.

Report
The Report details the work undertaken by the Committee during the 2015–16 session. During the session the Committee:
- published seven legislative scrutiny reports relating to nine bills
- corresponded with ministers on a further two bills
- conducted a large-scale inquiry on the Union and devolution
- published a report in response to the Strathclyde Review
- held stand-alone evidence sessions with the minister responsible for constitutional reform (Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster); the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice; the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales; and the President and Deputy President of the Supreme Court
