Crown Commercial Service SME Engagement survey

CCS is looking to engage with the SME community to improve their experiences when using CCS Services.

In line with the government's objective of having 33% of government spend going to SMEs by 2022, the Crown Commercial Service is actively supporting SME Engagement in the public sector and aims to ensure that SMEs can compete with larger organisations fairly. They are currently in the process of enhancing User Experience and Acessibility, introducing a number of new processes that will make the bidding process easier, quicker and less burdensome.

As part of their objective to support and encourage SME access to public sector procurement opportunties, CCS is looking to engage the SME market and ensure the enhancements they are making meet user needs. The first of these engagements is a short questionnaire concentrating on areas of market access, registraion and PPQ/SQ submission. It shouldn't take longer than 30 minutes and you can complete it here.

In short they hope the information collated will help:

  • To engage with the CCS SME community to understand the functionality that will assist SMEs in taking up usage of CCS services
  • To make CCS services easier for SMES to use and understand
  • To remove repetition in the procurement services that CCS is providing to the SME community
