As part of the CyberFirst Girls Competition campaign, those that took part in the 2019 and 2020 competitions now have the opportunity to develop their skills further.

The NCSC is offering the opportunity to apply for a FREE place on a one-day Girls Development Day in locations across the country as part of the CyberFirst programme. The day, which is open to those who entered the 2019 and 2020 Girls Competition, is designed to recreate the excitement from the Competition, increase understanding of the different specialisms within the sector and equip the girls with valuable practical skills. Over 1,000 places are on offer with new locations and dates being added all the time.

The development days, along with the Girls Competition, are just a few of the ways in which the NCSC is trying to encourage the younger generation to think about cyber security as a potential career in the future.

For more information about CyberFirst courses, bursaries and apprenticeships, head to the specific webpage, but also keep an eye on the CyberFirst Girls competition webpages for the 2020 finalists and image galleries to come over the next few days.
