Device Authority Named UK’s Most Innovative Small Cyber Security Company
Cyber Connect, techUK and the Department for Culture, Media & Sport congratulate Device Authority.
Device Authority, the global leader in policy and device-driven security for the Internet of Things (IoT), has been named by techUK’s Cyber Connect programme and the Department for Culture, Media & Sport as the UK’s Most Innovative Small Cyber Security Company, following a pitch in front of a live audience at this year’s InfoSecurity Europe.
Device Authority overcame tough competition from the other finalists Assuria, Intruder, and Exonar, impressing a panel of industry experts, chaired by Dr Alison Vincent, CTO UK and Ireland at Cisco.
Samantha Sanderson, UK's SME Cyber Security Champion, Cyber Connect Lead, said: “The competition is a great demonstration of the innovation taking place in the UK’s cyber security industry. We would like to thank all of our participants, sponsors and supporters, and congratulate Device Authority on their success.”
Digital Economy Minister Ed Vaizey said: "The Government is committed to supporting the UK cyber security industry and I congratulate Device Authority on being named the UK's most innovative small cyber company 2016. The UK is a world-leading digital economy and Government has made cyber security a top priority, investing £1.9 billion in cyber over the next five years."
