ESMA Seeks Experts in Corporate Finance to Join Its Industry Advisory Group

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, recently (06 November 2020) published an open call for candidates for industry experts in corporate finance.

The two-year term of the current Consultative Working Group (CWG) for the Corporate Finance Standing Committee (CFSC) will expire shortly. Therefore, ESMA is today launching the process to renew the composition of the CFSC CWG. The deadline for applications is 3 December 2020.

In accordance with the “Procedures for ESMA groups”, the selection of CWG members is based on an open call for candidates, which is published on the ESMA website. The relevant extracts of those procedures for CWGs are set out in the Appendix.
