Extended and paused frameworks – what you need to know
As a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we have reviewed our plans for re-procuring our framework solutions so that we can best help you during this time.
We have made some adjustments
We want to make sure all of our customers can access the goods and services they need so that you can continue to deliver key services to the public.
To prevent a gap in service on key procurement solutions for our customers, we have relied on Regulation 72 (1) (c) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 to extend some of our frameworks and these are as follows:
Pausing procurement and supporting suppliers
Due to the pressure that some of our service providers are facing and the disruption to the supply chain caused by the pandemic, we have been in discussion with our suppliers and have decided to pause the procurement process on certain frameworks until suppliers are better able to respond. This means suppliers can concentrate on serving customers during this time and we will continue to communicate with them about when we expect the process to resume. The following frameworks are paused:
- Total Facilities Management Solutions (676)
Accessing an extended framework
We ask that if you intend to use any of the extended frameworks between now and its expiry, that you consider your own corporate procurement rules and PPN 01-20 to ensure you are comfortable that the procurement solution offered by this extension in this interim period meets your needs.
We know that it is a difficult time for many, so we are here to help and support the public sector in any way that we can. We are proud to have a dedicated team of experienced procurement professionals who are on hand to help with advice and guidance on your procurement – big or small.
