FSCS clarification – July 2019 monthly defaults press release - Assura Protect Ltd
FSCS wishes to clarify that Assura Protect Limited of 86 Gloucester Place, London W1U 6HP has not been declared in default by FSCS and we understand is still trading and remains Authorised under FRN 678817 by the Financial Conduct Authority.
In our press release (issued on 17 July 2019,) FSCS stated that it had declared “Hayden Williams Independent Financial Services, formerly Assura Protect,” in default on 5 June 2019.
We had understood that Assura Protect was a former trading name of Hayden Williams Independent Financial Services Limited. We have now been informed that Assura Protect was never a trading name of Hayden Williams Independent Financial Services Limited.
Hayden Williams Independent Financial Services Limited (formerly of Room 1, 7 Meadows Bridge, Parc Menter, Cross Hands, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Wales SA14 6RA) remains “in default”. FSCS is amending its records to correct references to Assura Protect accordingly.
We apologise for any confusion or embarrassment caused.
