FSCS warns consumers of potential scam
We want to make consumers aware of phishing emails claiming to be from FSCS that ask people to register a claim to receive large amounts of outstanding monies owed. These emails ask consumers to provide personal details.
We do not contact consumers in this way and urge anyone who gets this email not to reply or provide any personal information to avoid falling victim to a potential scam or fraud.
FSCS is working closely with Action Fraud on this matter.
