FURTHER LEARNING FOR YOUR LEARNERS
If you’re looking for a new resource to help your learners extend their knowledge beyond the content in Learn My Way, Side by Side is a new and free-to-use learning resource that could be ideal for them.
Funded by the Department for Education, Side by Side has been developed by the Education and Training Foundation and boasts lots of exciting modules, including:
- Radicalisation and Extremism
- Online Safety
- What Can You Trust?
- British Values
To give learners a real sense of achievement, each module includes a brief final assessment, which awards them with a certificate when they’ve successfully completed it.
If you’re based in Sheffield or Solihull, there are two free events taking place to present the modules and discuss how they can be used. If not, keep an eye out for additional events taking place in September, October and November. Book your place at the Solihull event (Wednesday 26 July at Solihull FE College) or the Sheffield event (Thursday 27 July at Interserve) here.
