Progress made on the Fairer Scotland action plan published in 2016.

The 2019 Fairer Scotland Action Plan progress report provides an update on the 50 actions that the Scottish Government committed to take in 2016 across this parliamentary term to create a fairer, more equal society.

In addition, this progress report provides an update on the recommendations made in two reports published by the then Independent Poverty and Inequality Advisor, Naomi Eisenstadt: Shifting the Curve, published in 2016, and the Life Chances of Young People in Scotland, published in 2017.

This thematic progress report provides an update on all 50 actions and 33 recommendations across all three reports which reflects the cross-government work that is taking place to challenge inequality and increase fairness.
