Homeless Link becomes an officially accredited Living Wage Employer

Homeless Link is now an officially accredited Living Wage employer, as recognised by the Living Wage Foundation.

Homeless Link is now an officially accredited Living Wage employer, as recognised by the Living Wage Foundation. The news, being shared during the annual Living Wage Week, means the charity joins a movement of thousands of organisations, businesses and people across the UK in paying all its staff above the minimum wage levels as set by the Living Wage Foundation.

Rick Henderson, CEO at Homeless Link, yesterday said:

“Paying staff properly for their hard work is imperative to any organisation, so I’m delighted that Homeless Link is now an officially accredited Living Wage employer.

"Paying the living wage and above improves staff morale and staff retention. This is particularly important in the homelessness sector where high staff turnover can be an issue for services. Tight budgets can make it difficult, but I would implore any organisation who is not a Living Wage employer to explore ways they can address this.”
