How Britons have turned to health technology during COVID-19

techUK worked with Mediaplanet UK on the 2020 Digital Health campaign, which can be found in every copy of friday’s (25 September 2020) Guardian newspaper.

techUK recently contributed to the 2020 Digital Health campaign launched recently (25 September 2020) by Mediaplanet UK, which aims to raise awareness about the potential of digital technology to improve health and care. Featuring exclusive content from key thought leaders and industry voices, the publication was included in every copy of friday’s Guardian newspaper.

In an editorial, Julian David, CEO of techUK, wrote: 

"COVID-19 has brought unprecedented challenges and placed governments and citizens around the world under immense pressure to cope with the severe social, economic and health impacts resulting from the crisis.

"At techUK, our members have not been immune to these challenges, but their response has been marked by one word: collaboration. More than ever, COVID-19 has shown the power of working in partnership for the greater good, as individuals and organisations have stepped up to help our country and our health service in what has been described as the toughest health challenge in a generation."
