Huge investment in arts and culture buildings and equipment

Having the right buildings and equipment is vital for organisations and artists to be able to produce great art and culture. This ranges from accessible rehearsal, studio and performance spaces with the right facilities and technology, to the equipment necessary to produce innovative new artistic work or engage new people.

Through our Small Capital fund, we’re investing £9.6 million in 28 projects to redevelop arts and culture buildings and facilities, or purchase equipment to help organisations and artists improve their work.

11 organisations have also been invited to apply to the next stage of our Large Capital grants programme, for investment totalling £38.5 million. They now have 18 months to develop the full proposals for their projects.
