Applications close April 17 so apply now!

Innovate UK, as part of UKRI, launched the competition to promote business-led innovation in response to the outbreak.

The 20 million pound grant is sector agnostic and open to all UK businesses, placing emphasis on the agility of the solution and the ultimate impact it will bring. This could include connecting families to their elderly relatives, or easing supply chain demand in key industries.

Each successful company will receive £50k per project, with businesses allowed to submit up to two solutions to the scheme.

With this grant, Innovate UK aims to ease disruption in society and industry in the immediate. Projects must be able to start by June 1st at the latest and will last for no longer than six months.

Applications close on April 17th should you wish to apply. You can read more about eligibility requirements and how to apply here.

This is an open call to UK businesses who have continued to show agility and collaboration during this difficult time. It is promising to see Government promoting business-led innovation as all industries help fight against COVID-19.
