It's all cricket
Fixtures at Lord's Cricket Ground are going to make St John's Wood Tube very busy this summer and customers are advised to avoid the station if possible.
Events started today with the England v Sri Lanka Test and those travelling to the match are encouraged to use Baker Street station and walk to the ground following the short, signed route.
Other nearby stations such as Marylebone and Warwick Avenue are less than 15 minutes away by foot.
Customers not going to the cricket should consider using Swiss Cottage to avoid queues and stairs at St John's Wood on match days as both escalators are often switched to run on the up at busy times.
Events at Lord's will be running until September and include evening fixtures on 16, 23 June and 21 and 28 July, the England v Pakistan Test Match (14-18 July) and a one day international (England v Pakistan, 27 August).
