Japan is as curious as everyone else: what is Theresa May’s Brexit plan?

In an article originally published on The Guardian's Comment is Free website, Open Europe’s director Henry Newman argues that the UK government must communicate its Brexit strategy clearly to international partners like Japan if it is to achieve its ambition of a Global Britain, and that trade deals are not the be-all-and-end-all of life after Brexit.

…….  ultimately the single most important thing the prime minister needs to do, both for Japan and more generally, is to update all of us about her plans for Brexit: it’s been over six months since her Lancaster House speech, and it’s time to put more flesh on the bones.
