Launch Announcement: The Association of Chief Executives (ACE) Now Live on WiredGov!
We are delighted to announce that the Association of Chief Executives is a new stakeholder available on the WiredGov channel.
The Association of Chief Executives (ACE) is an independent member-led organisation, which exists to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery of public services in the United Kingdom. ACE is open to Chief Executives and Senior Managers of public bodies.
As an association run by chief executives, for chief executives, ACE offers a unique opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, insight and influence on developments affecting the arm’s-length body community. ACE provides a vehicle for engaging policy makers and key opinion formers with the needs and concerns of delivery bodies. ACE provides relevance for all ALBs operating in a wide range of fields, from regulation to operational delivery, and at all scales from bodies with just a handful of staff, through to large scale national organisations.
Through a programme of unique and carefully tailored seminars and events, ACE facilitates an environment for members to identify best practice and work together to improve the delivery of public services, by drawing on the perspectives of its members, ACE is able to provide impartial information, expert advice and guidance to government on the role of ALBs in the delivery and reform of public services.
ACE is supported by Head of the Civil Service and Cabinet Secretary, Sir Mark Sedwill; Chief Executive of the Civil Service, John Manzoni; and Dame Sue Owen, Permanent Secretary at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, who is ACE’s central government sponsor.
