Launching the Secure by Default Partnership Programme
CESG seek pioneering public sector organisations to help prove the benefits of adopting new technologies.
The technologies we’ll be trialling aren’t brand new, they already exist and are fully supported by their manufacturer. However their use in the public sector is limited. We want to accelerate their adoption by showing how good we can make their usability, how this can improve the way your staff use corporate IT, whilst maintaining security and meeting organisational policies.
In return for adopting new technologies, sharing your experiences and providing a written case study report, you’ll get access to:
- A nominated CESG technical expert to answer questions about the technologies, give implementation advice, and provide on-site technical support
- A further £25,000 to spend on equipment, infrastructure, software licenses, and other support costs
- Advice and guidance on accreditation and PSN compliance from CESG’s expert teams
We think this is a great opportunity to get new technologies into the hands of your users. Our primary criteria is that regardless of the size or function of your organisation you would make a great case study for other organisations to follow.
So whether you’re a government department, local authority, healthcare trust, law enforcement agency, or any other public sector organisation that handles OFFICIAL information we are interested in hearing from you. And you needn’t be the whole organisation, if you are in a sub-team that would make a good case study, then we’re still interested.
Before you consider applying there is a lot more detail on the Secure by Default Partnership Programme which you need to be aware of. You will find the application form and guidance there too.
