MI5 Proudly Supports Pride
MI5 was proud to fly the rainbow flag over Thames House in support of Pride in London last weekend. MI5 is recognised as one of the UK's most inclusive LGBT+ employers, consistently ranking within the top 10 employers in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index over the past five years, as well as being named Employer of the Year at the British LGBT Awards in 2018.
Director General Andrew Parker recently said:
MI5 is made up of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. A diverse and thriving workforce helps us keep the country safe. Flying the rainbow flag is an outward sign of our commitment to fostering a working environment in which everyone can thrive and fulfil their potential, making MI5 stronger.
