MOD Initiates Project LIOS (Land Integrated Operating Service) - Responses by 28 January 2022
A new opportunity has arisen to engage with the MOD as it considers future options for the procurement of goods and services. The MOD has initiated Project LIOS which sets out to improve the through-life management of the Army’s current in- and near-service military vehicles and selected equipment (Land Equipment) in line with Defence and Security Industrial Strategy.
Key to the success of this project is the engagement with suppliers operating independently or in consortia (including SMEs), from the traditional Defence sector and also those from other sectors where relevant capability and experience could introduce innovation in the development of future support models.
For Defence Suppliers wishing to explore further, the MOD requires responses by the 28 January 2022 via the Defence Sourcing Portal as detailed in the Prior Information Notice (PIN).
