Market Consultation: NEPO222 Aggregates, Concrete and Mortar

Newcastle City Council, working on behalf of NEPO, has invited suppliers to participate in market consultation activity, to help shape a new procurement solution for the supply of aggregates, concrete and mortar.

Available for use by North East public sector organisations, the new solution will cover the delivery and collection of aggregates, concrete, mortar and associated products.

A market consultation event is to be delivered virtually on Friday 27 November 2020 (10.00 – 11.30). The session will cover:

  • key elements of the draft service specification
  • detail of historic spend on similar goods
  • proposed lotting structure
  • indicative timeline of the procurement process.

Suppliers wishing to express interest must do so by visiting the NEPO Portal via this link (a NEPO Portal account is required, registration is free of charge).

It is anticipated that the tender documentation will be issued January 2021; with the solution to commence from May 2021.
