NCIA Not-For-Profit Framework - Call for Applications

NATO's Communications & Information Agency have announced a new Not-For-Profit-Framework to expand the agency's cooperation in the cyber/comms domain.

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) recently approved the NCIA Not-for-Profit Framework (NFPF) to expand the agency's cooperation in the cyber/communications domain with academia and thinktanks. It essentially works like the NCIA's existing Basic Ordering Agreement but for non-profit organisations.

UK non-profit organisations will have to apply via the NCIA website before being issued a DoE by DIT in much the same way as UK industry currently do in order to bid for NCIA business opportunities.

Eligible bidders must not contain any industry elements and must:

  • Be purely a non-profit organisation
  • Be C3/CIS related
  • have the "necessary financial, technical and professional competence to be admitted by the Government of the country of origin as bidders.

The full framework and associated documents can be found attached below.
