NEPO Highly Commended at National Social Value Awards
NEPO has been highly commended in the ‘Embedding Social Value in a Procurement Process’ category at the National Social Value Awards 2021.
The National Social Value Awards took place as part of the National Social Value Conference held 23 and 24 February 2021. The event celebrated innovation, leadership and best practice across the UK.
The highly commended award entry focussed on NEPO’s procurement of a water retail services solution for the UK public sector. Following a compliant process, NEPO appointed Durham-based Wave as the sole supplier of NEPO311 Water Retail Services. In addition to monetary savings, a robust SLA and ambitious water efficiency measures, NEPO and Wave’s partnership will deliver several far-reaching commitments to create real social value within the North East. These commitments are measurable against the National TOMs framework, ensuring that tangible additional value is achieved.
