NEPO complete the 3 Lakes Challenge

Nine team members from NEPO have completed the 3 Lakes Walk in aid of Team Evie.

On 12 October 2018, the team tackled the ferocious wind and rain of storm Callum and walked 21 miles around Derwentwater, Crummock and Buttermere all in one day. Sponsorship to date has totalled over £1,000, and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported the team. 

Team Evie works with sick children and their families providing a range of support such as medical equipment to enable home care, books for children's wards, and bereavement support. 

The event was a test run for the charity which plans to hold the challenge annually starting in Spring 2019. You can find out more about Team Evie at www.teamevie.org
